Are you qualified to work on gas?
Yes, we have been Gas Safe registered for over 8 years and are very experienced at servicing and inspecting gas boilers.
What is Powerflushing and when do I need it done?
If your central heating systems has circulation and boiler noise problems (caused by sludge and corrosion deposits) a Power flushing will remove these deposits and the problems that they cause. Power flushing is also a great way to pre-commission clean new central heating systems, it will remove excess flux, swarf and other debris, Existing debris is often moved by working on system/piping and the increased efficiency of the new boiler, and then collects in the boiler heat exchanger, causing noisy operation, reduced efficiency and, in extreme circumstances, failure of the boiler.
The high efficiency and compactness of modern boilers, developed to minimise fuel costs and pollution, means that they are more susceptible to problems caused by debris in the system water.
What is a Boiler service?
Boiler Maintenance can be a regular service or that one off repair. A regular annual service of your boiler will ensure that it remains safe and runs efficiently and correctly. We think at Always Plumbing based in Halesworth its best book your boiler service in the summer months, as we will be busier with breakdown call-outs in the autumn, when people turn on their heating. This is only a suggestion and we will service boilers all year round.
What to expect from an annual boiler service. A visual check that the boiler meets regulations. Any faults and Always Plumbing will inform you and explain cost and time.
